QuickPDF Privacy Policy

Overview

QuickPDF is a local-first PDF utility app for creating PDFs from images, merging PDFs, signing PDFs, viewing PDFs, and managing a local PDF library. This policy explains how QuickPDF handles your files and app data.

QuickPDF does not require an account and does not upload your PDFs, images, signatures, or library records to a QuickPDF server.

Information QuickPDF Handles

QuickPDF may handle the following information on your device:

• PDF files you import, create, merge, sign, save, or share.
• Images you select when creating a PDF.
• Signature strokes you draw and choose to save for reuse.
• Local PDF library details, such as filename, file path, file size, page count, creation date, last opened date, favorite status, and source type.
• App settings, such as dark mode preference.

How Your Information Is Used

QuickPDF uses this information to provide app functionality, including:

• Creating PDFs from selected images.
• Merging selected PDFs into a new PDF.
• Applying your signature to a selected PDF.
• Displaying and managing your local PDF library.
• Letting you favorite, rename, delete, save, and share PDFs.
• Remembering app settings and saved signature strokes.

Local Storage

QuickPDF stores created or imported PDFs in the app's local storage area on your device. Library records, settings, and saved signature strokes are stored locally using device app storage.

If you choose to save a PDF to phone storage, QuickPDF may ask you to select a folder. If you choose to share a PDF, your device's native share sheet or other selected app handles the shared file.

Permissions

QuickPDF may request access through system pickers or device features when needed:

• Image picker access to select images for PDF creation.
• Document picker access to select PDFs for import, merge, view, or signing.
• Storage folder access on Android when you choose to save a PDF to phone storage.
• Sharing access when you choose to share a PDF through another app.

Data Sharing

QuickPDF does not sell your personal information. QuickPDF does not upload your PDFs, images, or signatures to a QuickPDF server.

When you choose to share or save a file outside QuickPDF, the destination app, folder, or service you select may handle that file under its own privacy practices.

Advertising

QuickPDF may include non-intrusive advertising placements. If ads are enabled through a third-party advertising provider in a published build, that provider may collect or process data according to its own privacy policy and applicable consent requirements.

Data Deletion

You can delete data stored by QuickPDF in the following ways:

• Delete individual PDFs from the Library or Favorites screen using the PDF action menu.
• Clear saved files and local app data by uninstalling QuickPDF from your device.
• Use your device system settings to clear QuickPDF app storage or app data, if supported by your device.
• If you saved or shared PDFs outside QuickPDF, delete those copies from the destination folder, app, or service separately.

Deleting a PDF inside QuickPDF removes it from the app's local library and attempts to delete the stored file from QuickPDF's app storage. Copies saved outside the app are not automatically deleted.

Children's Privacy

QuickPDF is not intended to collect personal information from children. Because QuickPDF is local-first and does not require an account, users should avoid selecting or sharing sensitive files unless they understand where those files will be saved or shared.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above.
